Do you have the TV on more with 2 kiddos?

I know I'm going to do this...but I'm trying to decide how guilty I'm going to feel about it ;-)  With breastfeeding a newbie and my DH going back to work a week from today (SOB!!!!) I know I'll be turning on the TV to keep B occupied while I nurse and for a few minutes of sanity.

Please tell me I'm not the only one...

  • I don't have it on now, but I definitely plan on using it after Mila gets here to help entertain Ava if I'm bf'ing or whatever. She's not super into it, but it can buy me 20 minutes in a pinch.

  • Yes, not so much when I'm feeding her, but when I need to put her down for a nap, the TV prevents Avery from following me most of the time.

  • Yes!  I felt super guilty at first but what else was G going to do while I tend to a newborn?  Theres only so much coloring or playing with cars he can do.

Now G gets sick of tv so he might watch a few minutes and then go play by himsel

  • Those first few months of long breastfeeding sessions and a newborn who needed to be rocked and held for almost all of his naps....yeah, the TV was on a LOT to occupy the toddler.

    Netflix was amazing!

It probably tappered off around 5-6 mon
