Overnight diapers or go one size up?

DD just started wetting through diapers at night, but she does fine in this size all day long. She is not a heavy wetter, in general. Since I still have 2 cases to use up, do you recommend overnight diapers or is just going one size up at night sufficient?

Re: Overnight diapers or go one size up?

  • I always liked the overnight diapers.

Edit: when the overnight diapers weren't enough anymore - I put liners in them.

  • I've tried both, just going up a size actually worked better than the overnight diapers which are more expensive for a much smaller amount. My DD's wear a size 3/4 during the day and are a size 5 at night, works just fine!

  • I tried both, one size up and the Huggies Overnites.  One size up did not do the trick, but the Overnites are amazing!

  • For DS, we do both -  overnight diapers in a size up

For DD, so far we've been good with just her regular size, but I would just go up a size first before before buying overnights

  • We just had this issue this week too. Even though she's under the weight limit for size 4s...although not by much...I put her in that size overnight Sunday night using the same brand of size 3s she wears during the day. The 4 still leaked! So last night I

  • I would go up a size first then try the overnights as a second option. Bennett is in 3's during the day and 4's at night. So far no issues.

Btw for those that aren't brand loyal we use Walgreen diapers all the time. They just ran a sale BOGO free
