Any other first time moms over 30?

People always tease us because we take everything slow, and having a baby was just one more thing we waited on.

We met when I was 2 and he was 3, but didn't date until we were out of college. Got married when I was 27 and he was 28. Waited 3 1/2 years to buy a house (this past summer) and are now expecting our first child (I'm 31, he's 32).

Anyone else over 30 and expecting their first little one?

Yup. We're both 32 and this is our first.

We never felt rushed to have children and only TTC when we were ready. We didn't really care what others thought.

Yep. I'm 33 (will be 34 when I deliver) and DH is 39 (turning 40 in December). We waiting a while so we could have fun being married for a few years. In hindsight, with all our issues, we probably should have started earlier, but it really doesn't matter.
