Anyone using pullups?

We are almost out of diapers and I need to buy some more and was thinking about pullups. DS has a lot if interest in the potty. He goes on it once a day and about every 3rd time he does pee pee. He has pooped on the potty once about 2 weeks ago.
My friend who has a 3 year old boy and a 2 year old girl uses them on both but I think it's more of a function of the girl what what her brother has.
Anyone have any thoughts?

    We don't use them, but C is not even remotely ready for PTing. 

    However, I've heard bad things about pullups. Basically, they don't really work as well as a diaper, and they are a PITA to change - so unless your LO is really ready

    We were using pullups for outings when PTing. We went straight to undies and training pants. They were to much like a diaper for DD.

    We use them with my older son. Pull ups are much easier to change now. They have the tabs like diapers, but go on like underwear.

    We didn't use them with DD and don't intend to with DS.  Too many kids use a pull up just like a diaper so I personally feel it just prolongs the potty training process.  If they are ready, then put them in undies.  If they aren't, wait and

    We have two packages that an excited grandmother got her for Christmas. We are potty training currently, but I find that the pullup doesn't make much difference for her, so I doubt I will buy more.

    We aren't potty training yet, but I've been told by several people that just using underwear is more effective than pullups.
