So there have been a few random times that I have noticed A chewing nothing. Almost like a cow chewing cud. It isn't related to meals or snacks since he isn't allowed to graze. I have had him open up or I stick my finger in to see what's there and.....nothing. It's so bizarre. I ask him what he's chewing and he just looks at me like I'm funny. Once I've addressed it either by asking him or by looking in his mouth it stops and I don't see it for awhile sometimes even several days.
Any ideas??
Re: Do I have a cow for a kid?
I almost bet he's grinding his teeth. I'd have your dentist check next time you go in.
B chews on the inside of his cheek, or maybe on his tongue.
As long as he's not grinding his teeth or anything I think he's probably okay.

Another vote for cheek chewing.
I noticed DS doing it recently & I asked him if his teeth hurt him (teething) & he said he was chewing his cheek. lol. ok.
