Baby shower

So my cousin keeps asking me to pick the date of the baby shower I'm due late August. When would be a good time to do a baby shower? My friend wants to do it in August but I think that being my first baby I will be to out of it and tired to even entertain guests. I was think 2nd week of June is that too soon? I'm a FTM so I have no idea what I'm doing lol. Also when should I register??

I wouldn't want it too late. I would say any time in June or July is fine. I was worried about not having anything set up before the shower if it was too late. It would give me anxiety, lol. Plus I have friends who delivered a month early, not that it is

I'm due early August, and our's is early June. Anytime between June and July would be prime. Really wouldn't see August as a wise time to have one IMO.

W my first, I was due end of April and had my shower the beginning of March. I think I was around 33 weeks. I had to fly for it, so that's why it was then.

I suggest finding weekends that work well for you and plan around that. I'm having a super early shower (end of April!) because it was the only weekend that I could travel without having to take time off of work - and I have to travel very far.

I think having the shower anytime in June or July would be fine. As for registering, you can start whenever you want!
