Bottom heavy ladies (Mat. pants)

I've been bottom heavy my whole life and it's a struggle to find pants that fit me well. Now that I'm in maternity clothes, it's been damn near impossible.

Any other bottom heavy ladies having any luck? I have one pait of Motherhood dress pants for work and they're too tight in the thighs. I tried on a good 8 pairs in the store and only this one was remotely close to working for me. I also need jeans....

  • Yep! I remember since I was 11 and hit puberty trying on at least 10 pairs to find one that fit.... Maternity clothes, however, fit me very nicely. Maybe it's because I'm willing to pay more though! I get all of my jeans and pants etc at Motherhood.
  • I had luck at old navy too :

For work clothes I have always had good luck with the Loft.  I got 2 pairs of their maternity pants and love them.

  • I have the opposite problem. I have no bottom and really long legs. My last 2 pregnancies I got away with wearing my normal jeans, but I don't think it is going to work that way with twins. I've tried on over ten types of maternity pants and everything fa
  • I can't help with work pants because I am at a casual work place (but oh how I HATED them when I did have to wear them... not made for thighs!), but I have had luck with the ON jeans. I know a lot of people complain of them being baggy in the butt and thi

  • I'm a serious pear shape (12/14 on bottom and S/M on top) and am loving the 2 pairs of pants I got from GAP recently. I kind of wish regular pants had stretchy waists too bc as a pear I almost always have a gap in the back bc my waist is small and my

  • I've always been bottom-heavy.  I am LOVING my Gap pants.  The ones that have roomier thighs are the modern boot pants.  And for jeans, I love their sexy boot jeans.  All the other styles I found the thighs too tight.  I am glad I

  • I have a pear shape as well and I find that you can just stay in regular pants longer as a result, because as your waist expands for the baby, it finally fits the clothes that have bigger thighs/butt.

Other than that I have no real suggesti

I have trouble finding pants that fit right because my legs are apparently abnormally thick for my waist (I have always been jealous of people who carry most of their weight in their belly/butt; mine's spread out, yay).  I got a bunch of second-hand
