doc. appointment today!

Well, I have been pretty concerned the past 4 or 5 days. It seems like I have been getting constant braxton hicks ( I think that's what they are) and they take my breath away! Also been getting some sharp cramping pains every now and then. LO feels really low, (I can feel her in my pelvis area!). Lastly, when I wiped this morning, I think a part of my mucus plug was there. I know that doesn't mean too much but I guess with all this happening at once it has me a bit concerned. TMI warning: the partial mucus plug thingy (lol) was a yellowish white thick strand.

Anyways, not much of a point to this post since I am going to the doc. today, but I did wonder if any of you guys had the same stuff going on? Or if anything happened after these events. I am hoping she will check my cervix, but I guess I can always ask her if she will to put my mind at ease!

  • At 35 weeks its probably your body getting ready for the big show! But it's definitely a good idea to be checked out to make sure! Good luck!

  • Thanks everyone!!! I figured it was probably just more regular mucus, but I have all these what ifs. lol. Yeah if anything having my mind at ease will be great. That also makes perfect sense about LO sitting low and causing contractions.

  • You took the words right out of my mouth! I'm 34w 3d, and have been having consistent BH coupled with mild period like cramping for the last 4 or 5 days-but chalk it up to doing too much and just make sure I rest when I get home. I still get the BH throug
