Elective U/S or not to?

I have my next ultrasound in a month, but I'm very anxious to see the baby again as it has been ten weeks since I last saw it... What do you all think? Should I do an elective or should I wait?

What does your partner think? I'd have no problem going in for an elective u/s, but dh doesn't see the need and would rather just wait until our a/s is scheduled. So, I'll be waiting.

I'd rather spend the money on something better than impatience, but that's just me. I know a lot of people have them and really enjoyed it.

We are doing one in ten days. But I'm not having to sacrifice anything and it falls by our anniversary. If you have the capabilities and want to do it I say go for it!

I'm with PP...I would go in, but DH doesn't see the need. Our insurance doesn't pay for them so ours would be $250 which is a little extreme for me! I'm so anxious to see baby and find out sex, but I figure at this point, what's another 4 weeks?

Thank you all for the advice! I'll probably just wait. I talked to my fianc and he wants to wait for our scheduled one. I DO want a 3D ultrasound eventually though so it will come in time! :

I personally wouldn't spend the money just to see my baby again. My last u/s was at 9 weeks and I won't see him again until the a/s on April 16th. I'm fine with waiting til then.
