C-Section Mommies Come in....

I had to have an emergency C-Section with this LO and it has been 2 weeks since my staples were removed. It doesn't hurt and it is not uncomfortable but anytime I touch the incision or the area immediatly surrounding it still feels very "tender"? I go back to the dr. for a check up tomorrow and planned to ask her about it. In the mean time is this normal? Will the feeling ever go away? Please tell me I am not the only one?

  • Ugh, I definitely have this too!  My stomach is so sensitive that even just wearing clothes bothers me.  I've been trying to wear loose dresses or t-shirts as much as possible.  From what I understand it's completely normal and take a year

  • Definitely normal.  I still have an occasional moment of tenderness 10 weeks after my c-section.  It will actually takes weeks for the incision to heal.  It's just healed enough to have the staples removed.

  • It's normal. My LO is almost 11 weeks old and I still have areas of "tender" and "numbness". My OB told me that it can take quite a while for things to get closer to normal.
