Refusing the bottle

I have noticed since we started solids, LO has been refusing her bottle.  We FF and lately she doesn't seem to want the bottle.  It is so frustrating.  She'll cry because she is hungry and then when I give it to her all she wants to do is fidget and look around, push it away and sit up or stand.  Last night she went to sleep right after her last bottle at 7:30 and when she woke up at 6 am she wouldn't eat.  I am getting so frustrated with her.  She doesn't seem to be interested in cereal the last couple of days either.  I have been lucky to get two or three spoonfulls in her.  Is this something I need to be seriously concerned about?  Or is this just a phase.

  • My DD did this when she had an ear infection. There were no other signs (no fever, no ear pulling, etc.) She just wanted nothing to do with her bottle and when she did finally break down and drink it, she fought it the whole time (moving her head around a

  • Believe it or not we were just at the pedi because I suspected an ear infection.  Fortunately she didn't have one but I am thinking it is probably teething.

  • Have you tried increasing nipple flow? Also maybe a sippy cup might interest her if she is already eating solids. I like the nuk soft spout sippy cup.
