by looking at you that you're pregnant already? We announced to our families over the weekend after not having seen them for 3 months. They were all thrilled, of course, but my mom kept commenting that I don't even "look pregnant" yet and that when she was pregnant with me (her first) at this time she was already showing. A couple people at work who know have randomly commented that they can't tell either. My really stretchy jeans which I've been living in up to this point are uncomfortable in the waist now, and my "pouch" is definitely bigger than it was before, but I've only gained a couple pounds. This is my first pregnancy that has made it past 5 weeks, and I feel like it looks like I just ate too many cheeseburgers. I didn't really expect to "show" with my first for another 2 or 3 weeks at least, but these comments have me curious.

I remember with my first, I didn't show until sometime after 20 weeks (can't remember exactly when). The very first day I wore a maternity shirt, someone even asked me when was I finally going to start showing. . .umm, I thought I was!

I definitely did not start to really show until 15 weeks with DD, my first. My close friends/coworkers and family could notice but not strangers. I got comments from strangers closer to 18 weeks.

Subsequent pregnancies will make you show earlier but I don't think I was showing until 16 weeks or more with first.

No, they probably think I just ate a couple more cupcakes than normal =( I am plus size pre-pregnancy, so I've got a (long) while before it will look like I'm actually pregnant. I hope it happens eventually...

I didn't think I was showing, but my neighbor knew a few days ago and asked me when I am due. I think I was wearing something tighter that day, so she noticed.

I had a coworker out me today...she could tell I was pregnant. We haven't told anyone except for family. It's pretty obvious. I guess its true that you show earlier with the second. I'm 10 weeks.

I've had a couple people claim they can tell but I think it's just not being able to suck in the bloat. Based on how low the HB was at my last drs apt, there is no way that my under-belly pudge is baby!
