13 week ultrasound

We had our 2nd appointment today, which I thought would be perfectly routine. We had an ultrasound, and the doctor said everything looked great. THEN...

She asked if we wanted to know the gender if she could tell. Definitely a boy. She showed us both the umbilical cord and the boy parts separately so she said even she was 99 percent positive.

We totally thought we would have to wait until the next appointment. We are super thrilled and plan on naming him Joseph Benjamin! (My dad's and grandpa's name are also Joseph.)

So excited and had to share.

Congrats on a great appt! Don't run out and buy all blue just yet, girls can have "nubs" this early and can be mistaken for a boy.

That's so exciting! I'm jealous! I'm 12w2d and we cannot wait to find out what we are having! Congrats but I do agree, don't go buy all blues just yet

Congrats! I can't believe they already can tell what you're having the nurse reassured me today that they couldn't tell until 18th week

I plan to go to a 4D ultrasound place and cross my fingers that they can see the good :
