1st Trimester

Symptoms come and go...is this normal

This is my first pregnancy and I am driving myself crazy!  Before I found out I was pregnant I drank a lot of coffee and once I found out, I quit cold turkey.  For weeks 3-5 I felt horrible, but mostly due to the caffeine withdraw, I assume.  Now at six weeks my only symptoms are fatigue, frequent urination (mostly because I am drinking more water than I ever have) and occasional nipple tenderness.  My nipples were more sore two+ days ago, now not so much and no morning sickness.  Anyone else have a similar early pregnancy?

  • Thanks, I know I will regret wishing for symptoms! I just want peace of mind that everything is going well.  Will try to remain calm.
  • I'm six weeks today : my symtoms are tiredness, extra toilet trips due to drinking loads more water I think and really sore boobs. But sometimes I completely forget I'm pregnant and go to pick my daughter up and then think oh I've got to be careful now :
  • FYI, you can still have 200-300 mg of caffeine a day.

  • Totally normal for symptoms to come and go. I feel completely exhausted most of the time. But the breast soreness and nausea comes and goes for me. Although I still freak out and this is my second time around. :)

  • Wow, you asked the question that was on my mind too! Like you, I haven't really been feeling "pregnant" everyday and keep wishing to see more symptoms as well! If anything, just to know things are going ok until I go in for my first prenatal appt.  I
