  I think it is fine as long as it is established that you are not the host. In the invite it should have your address but then the RSVP to your friend and if people call you I would direct all questions to your friend. Let your friend greet your guests whe

  My friends are hosting at my house as well. My best friend and her daughter are staying over from out of town, and my MIL wanted to have it at a fancy schmancy tea party place 45 minutes away. I said in that case I would do it at my house as long as I did

  my SIL is hosting my shower at my house. I wasn't super excited about it being at my house but she is doing EVERYTHING. she even offered to come over the night before and clean (I politely declined this offer). The invitation has her phone/email for RSVP
