Bed safety rails

Thinking of setting up a twin bed in DD's room shortly and possibly transitioning her - she's trying to climb out of her crib in the morning and I'm worried about her being successful soon & falling. Please recommend a good safety rail for her bed. Should I get a full length rail to keep her contained (do they make those?)? Are the mesh ones best? How long do you typically use a safety rail? Also, does your bed have a footboard that keeps your toddler contained on that end? TIA!
