too much chevron?

DH and I are trying to plan our baby girl's nursery. I don't want to over do it with chevron. Our colors are grey, pink and teal.

We will be painting the room a light grey. White curtains.

We found a crib skirt that is light pink chevron that came with a blanket that I will keep on the rocking chair that matches the pink chevron.

Is it too much chevron if we also do a light grey and white chevron 5x7 rug? Should we just do a plain color rug instead? Right now it's hardwood in there. I'm a decoration dunce, so I can use all the help I can get! Thanks:)

(Teal will be incorporated with lamps and changing pad...or we may nix the teal all together.)

I don't think that's too much, it would have been too much if the curtain and the walls were painted chevron.

We are doing the same colors. I have grey and white chevron sheets. Frankly, I am so over seeing chevron everywhere but it seems as though I'm the only one. If its a cheap rug, I wouldn't care, but with as trendy as chevron is, its going to look

I think the pink and white chevron sheets plus throw sound adorable! However, I'd keep it to just those items, because it would be an on trend look without the mistake of over doing it. When I decorate I try to think of chevron as a polka dot...great acce

I think you should avoid doing a chevron rug. Chevron looks best when there are hints of it mixed into the rest of your decor. So what you should be looking at for a rug is something with a rounded pattern. That will soften the chevron and give you an ecl

I'd just do the pink and white chevron, then look for a rug with circles or dots like PP said. The crib skirt will be close to the rug and I think that is too much
