I see a few familiar faces, so hi to you hors and hello to everyone else! I'm BLT, DH(30) and I(25) have been married 5 years this Sept and this is our first LO. We're a dual status Army National Guard couple and work in government contracting for our regular jobs. We have lived in 5 different places, 3 states and currently reside in central PA.
Even though I'm still pregnant(does it ever end? Lol) we are 99% sure that we only want one child and felt that way before I got KU. We both travel a ton for work, move frequently, and enjoy a lifestyle of being rather spoiled. We both come from families that were always strapped for cash and both worked all through HS and don't necessarily want that for our son. We want to be able to take him on vacations and do things we didn't get to do. So while we may change our minds, I really doubt it. Logistically it makes sense for us to be OAD. We're catching a ton of shiit for it from our families but we're sticking to our guns, unless they start paying our bills, lol.

Welcome, BLT!!! For us, moving as often as we do, two kids would be even more challenging. I understand where you are coming from! I'm sorry that your families are struggling with your decision.
