DS has not been holding his bottle recently. less than a month ago, DS would not take a bottle unless he was holding it now, I basically have to force him to feed himself (by holding the bottle in front of him so he will grab it). anyone else's LO doing this? He almost seems like he is acting 'lazy' or like 'if I don't mom will do it'. I really don't want to encourage that behavior--especially this early on.
Also, He is almost 10 months old and won't self feed any finger foods (he eats the food and he can pick up the food), he won't put it in his mouth once he picks it up. He picks it up and moves it from the main part of the tray to the cup holder part and then onto the floor
How do I get him to pick it up and put it in his mouth?.
Re: not really lazy, but not sure what the deal is
I would just let it go. The more you make an issue out of it, the more your LO will pick up on your stress and react to it.
For the bottle, it's probably just a phase. Hold the bottle, and let DS take it whenhe wants to.
