Mobile Users: One of the hardest nights of my life (Loss mentioned)
Many of you know my dog Bear has been struggling with health issues. About two weeks ago he started having troubles walking... after a trip to the vet and new medication we were hopeful he was doing well.
Well this last week he took a turn for the worst, he had problems walking again and wouldn't eat. Bear is a big boy and normally does not miss a meal. This was concerning, after a few days of monitoring his life we decided to set an appointment to put him down. It has been hard waiting for D-day (which was scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10am), and I haven't said anything on here because I did not want to bring the group down when everyone should be so happy with all the babies being born.
Today was hard and about 7pm it became clear he was not going to make it through the night. We it was sad and horrible!! We gave him as much love as possible and a friend came over to help us get him in the car (he weighs 150lbs and obviously I cannot help my DH lift him). As we arrived to the hospital he took his last breath and went to heaven. We stayed with him for a while and continued to give him love and say our goodbyes. I know he is in a better place and it was for the best but it was still very difficult. I cannot stop crying and every one around me is telling me to stop and care for the baby inside of me. I am doing everything I can to care for her but I cannot stop crying and I wish people would stop telling me that.
Bear was the best dog any one could ask for, he was loving, gentle, well mannered, and the best friend you could ever ask for. There wasn't a single person that met him that did not fall in love. Bear melted hearts everywhere and helped where he could as a therapeutic dog. An angel returned home tonight.
Bear Rest In Peace

Re: One of the hardest nights of my life (Loss mentioned)
I am so so sorry you're going through this.
Our dog is such a big part of our family and I can't imagine how devestated I would be to lose him.
Judging from the pictures, you have some lovely memories. I hope you can take comfort in those.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. Losing a family member is so difficult, even if you know it is in their best interest. You gave Bear everything you could and made the last time he had on Earth a great time for him.
Please don't let anyone mak
We can't wait to meet our Blake Katherine!!
