Sleeping away from home

E has started sleeping much better at home. However, when we go to visit my parents, she is up every 2 hours. And not just awake, but screaming. I know it's hard to sleep in a new place and without the comforts of home. But is there anything we can do to help her? We try to keep her normal bed time routine. Any tips from seasoned mamas? We are traveling again in 2 weeks and would like to be able to sleep!

That's tough! We used the sleep sheep as part of our bedtime routine, so that was easy to pack with us when we travel, but that certainly wouldn't help for awaking in the middle of the night and not being able to settle back down.

We bring LO's RnP and sleeping at night is not an issue. We also have a 2nd smaller, portable swing that we took when he was smaller.

Night sleeping has not been a problem...now getting him to take a nap is a different matter.
