Baby has Impetigo!

Ever since my second son was born we have had problem after problem with his skin and he is only 7 months old. He has really bad eczema and out of no where last week he had what looked like an open sore on his head and it just kept getting bigger and bigger, We took him to urgent care and found out he has impetigo and is now in keflex 3times a day for 10days. It is almost gone now and we are on day 5. Thank goodness! I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their little one and if it has ever come back after it has gone away.

    My little girl had it when she was two. Just one sore on her chin.

    It took only a few days for the wound to heal, but quite a few weeks before you couldn't see any trace of where the wound had been and the skin was completely healed.

    My SIL has it. I guess it is something that never actually goes away (like you always have it), but sores can break out really badly at times of stress, and then go away after a few days of treatment. My SIL says she'll always have it.
