9 month old baby with tremors...need help?

Hi Everyone, I have a  9 month old son who has since month 3-4 been having possible motor ticks.  I am a special needs teacher so I recognize it when I see it.  Has anyone ever expereinced this.  I asked my peditrician and she didn't seemed to concerned about it.  Today for example it seemed like he had about 5 tremors.  His body would shake.  He is a happy little boy,  makes great eye contact, and has kept up and met all his milestones.   Please any experience, and or suggestions moms please.  I'm a first time Mom, and if my son needs help/services I would like to get them for him.

    Does he do it when he's going to sleep or nursing?  I think it is usually normal since babies are have developing neurological systems.  It has to do with the startle reflex and is called benign neonatal sleep myoclonus. They are growing by leap

    It's never when he is asleep.... It's at random times, no set patterns. It only lasts a second or two...just very unerving

    Get a second opinion. Your doctor is dismissing your concerns, when clearly your gut is telling you otherwise.

    My son is 8 months old and has been getting these since about 3-4 months as well. His Dr as well, says it is nothing. After doing research of my own, I am pretty positive it is Infant Shudder Syndrome. I noticed he really gets it from over stimula
