I don't really know where to start. Our baby boy (twin 
was diagnosed with a giant omphalocele and dextrocardia (heart deviated to the right) 12 weeks. That was devastating but we dealt with it. We've prayed constantly and had determined the best place to deliver for his care. Last week we thought we overcame the last major hurdle before birth with a normal fetal echo. We could not have been happier about a healthy heart. It seemed that the omphalocele was the only issue. Although still potentially fatal and very complicated after birth, he had a chance (possible a quite decent chance).
Friday we went back the MFM for another u/s (every 3 weeks). I don't understand how this didn't show up before (or even a week ago during the fetal echo), but suddenly he has a diaphragmatic hernia. His stomach and some bowel is in the chest cavity. His heart has now been pushed all the way over to the right due to the stomach. The stomach is 4x the size it should be which apparently indicates some sort of kink in the bowels. He has no room for lungs to develop in the chest cavity. We were told that he pretty much has no chance and may die in utero. His heart rate was very irregular (slow then rapid). Dr was thinking he may pass over this weekend. He is accumulating amniotic fluid around him, which puts our healthy baby girl at risk.
If he doesn't pass, we are forced with making a decision by Thursday. He is our beautiful son and I can't imagine having to make that decision. We have watched him for hours on u/s. I have felt him move inside of me. We talk to him daily. We are beyond in love. If he wasn't putting baby girl at risk, I don't think we would think twice about continuing on. Praying that God takes our son is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do. We are completely lost and devastated and I think I just needed to get this all out in words. We go back to the dr first thing in the morning.

Where do you live? You need to get on the Phone and call Boston Childrens Hospital, Texas Childrens or Philly Childrens because the bowel thing I believe is fixable in Utero. My sister has multiple birth defects and some are fixable in utero. There was

Then 5 units of Lurpon in am, 150iu of Follistim and 1 unit of Menopur in pm. Holding dosage throughtout since response has been great. Thought we would be freeze all due to OHSS, but ended up getting more follicles then expected! 14 total!!! 12 mature and 11 fertilized. Dr calls for a 5 day transfer!!
