doing the big race while pregnant

So since my pregnancy and training has been going well, and my midwife said it's okay, I signed up for a 2.5 mile open ocean swim for Sunday.  My husband isn't really excited about me doing it, but he never has been able to stop me from doing whatever I want ;)

I'm a little nervous but very excited to hit the water.  I'll let you guys know how it goes on Sunday!

    Update: The cross-channel swim went really well!  I actually came in 19th of over 100 swimmers.  It took me 1 hour 20 minutes.  I was just happy to get out of the 4-6 foot crosswaves.  Bonus: I saw four sea turtles :)
