Another April baby came early!

My DD was 4.6, but after an u/s on Thursday where baby was measuring small and there was some concern about blood flow issue, they decided to induce me. I was given cervidil at 4pm Thursday, a second dose around 11pm and then about 3am at 1cm dialated they placed a foley catheter (ouch). That fell out around 9am on Friday and they started pitocin and gave me an epidural. By 4pm I was still only 4cm dialated and super frustrated. About 20 minutes later I felt/heard a big pop (what I thought was in my bum) and it was actually my water breaking. By 5pm I was fully dialated and 20 minutes later Giavanna Marie arrived...9 pushes total and I managed to cover the dr. and nurse in amniotic fluid...whoops. Stick out tongue She was 6lbs 5.6 ounces and 19.25 inches long. We are home and getting adjusted, breast feeding is painful but as far as I can tell its going well. Good luck to all you other mommies! I was so nervous about the unexpected...but in the end the whole experience was amazing!!!!
