Vincent/Vinnie/Vinny

We are so stuck on boys names.

We have a
Gabe Lucy Gabriel Lucille

And are thinking about doing
Vincent with the NN of Vinnie/Vinny/Vin.

Our last name is very Italian tho.

Which spelling of Vinnie? With and ie or y?

Vinnie, definitely! I've never seen Vinny before, looks made up to me. I like it, btw, esp. With your sibset.

Interestingly, I've only ever seen Vinny. So I prefer the y. Sometimes I think ie names say girl more than boy. Though I am sure I have exceptions to that!

This is very Italian, but not in a bad way. I'd use the Vinnie spelling.

Gabe, Lucy, and Vinnie is a nice sibset.

I have a cousin Vinnie, if you are old you can start laughing now. For the youngin's that was a movie... I like the Vinnie spelling, it's the only one I've ever seen.

DH is a Vinny and hates the ie ending. He sees that spelling as being feminine.

I prefer Vinnie, but that is because that is how my nephews name is spelled. Vinny just looks weird to me.
