Trying to Get Pregnant

Best vacation you've ever had..?

I'm stuck on the annual family vacation this year...for some reason, its always up to me. I want to go somewhere domestically...US...bc I don't have a passport or Queen Ann's license. We already have Outer Banks, Hershey and DE beaches on the agenda. I want to go somewhere we've never been, so Jax Beach, Savannah, Sedona, Cape Cod, Atlanta, OCMD, Finger Lakes are out. I was thinking Maine, Catskills or Vermont on a lake???? I want to go somewhere that there is a lot to do, but its not crowded and its very relaxing.
I am 11 dpo, crampy, have sore boobs and will be testing prob Friday or Saturday.
TIA! Happy Easter and Passover!

  • If you want to do Maine, I would recommend the Bar Harbor area. There's a lot to do up there because of Acadia National Park...swimming, kayaking, whale watches, lots of hikes, and cute and quaint downtown.

  • Savannah is beautiful, and not too crowded, plus the beach is near by. Atlanta is so busy, and crowded. I, personally, wouldn't want to have a family vacation there.

  • I've been to Savannah and wanted to do something different. A random place. I may check out best small towns in America. They did a story on that in a travel mag one time.

  • I suggest Charleston.  You can stay on one of the beaches, which aren't too crowded (unlike Tybee, OMG, most crowded beach I've ever seen) and still be close enough to do all of the touristy stuff, shopping, and amazing restaurants.  The

  • If you like mountians, Pagosa Springs, Colorado is amazing. I don't live there anymore, but its my home town. It is a fantastic little tourist town, but it doesn't get crowded. It has some pretty amazing hot springs.

  • This is great! Glad I posted!! I'm getting good ideas. If I go I online, they all recommend commercialized places like Miami, Honolulu or Orlando.
