Dog meets baby advice

Any STM or FTM that has already done this please send me your advice! I am getting discharged and I am wondering the best way to introduce our dog to LO. He has been at doggie daycare while we were in the hospital so our plan is to get LO home and settled then bring the dog home. Should we do anything before he comes in? How should we introduce them? I am probably worrying more than I should about this but he was our baby for 3 year. He is an Australian Shepard mix so he is a great, smart dog.

  • I've also read that it's better to have the pup there when you get home. Do you have any close friends the dog loves? My dogs absolutely love my father so I asked him to bring them one of LO's blankets and then be there when we get home, it's extra help f

  • Who is the alpha in your house (who does your dog listen to better)?  If its you, than you should be the one to carry LO in in their carseat. If its your so, then you go in first and greet your dog who hasn't seen u in a couple days, and you may s

  • Last time, this was a nonevent. We had put out all the baby gear so the dogs could get used to it, and my dad had used a bird chirping ornament that the dogs found quite agitating to train them not to try and jump in the crib or the bassinet. But, for
