Debate in my head

(First I hate it when I post in the wrong area... I originally had this in 3rd... ugh, ment to put it here)

At my OB appointment last Thursday my OB was on vacation. I scheduled for my weekly appointment again for this Thursday but since she was out last week they told me she is overbooked by 4 patient's and I will prob see a NP... ugh its my 39 week and I would love to chat with her and get my membrane stripped.

Here is my debate for myself. They wanted me to schedule for Monday vs Thursday because my OB had a bunch of open times. I didn't schedule bc I had to work but then my official work schedule came out and I have Monday off... hum... Last time I had my membrane stripped I went into labor the next day!!!! And yes I know getting this done is not a guarantee.

We don't get maternity leave pay so if I don't go to work this week I am missing out on about 500$ pay??? its not much but I could also pick both Monday and Tuesday hours up at the other hospital I work at and make an additional 5-600$ but I'm kind of over this work thing too.... I am also wondering if she would strip the membrane since I will only be 38 1/2 weeks vs 39 weeks..... o the debate in my head? I need to go grocery shopping too... so call in morning to move appointment, hope I get stripped, go grocery shopping, water break (cross my fingers), and have baby??? If it was just that easy to predict, LOL or just work : ( make money I will appreciate later on and hold out to see if I get to see my Dr on Thursday?

Any random thoughts?
