can i get my baby back?

i placed my baby girl for adoption about 5ish weeks ago and i regret it and i want to get her back. the adoption hasnt been finalized yet, can i get her back even though i signed papers?

    It depends on what state you are in and what your time to change your mind is. For example, in my state (NC), the BM had 7 days to change her mind after signing the papers.  After that time, in order for her to get DD back, she'd have to prove she wa

    I agree, you need to contact an attorney ASAP and see what the revocation period is like in your state. If it has expired, you have very little recourse unless you can show you were coerced into signing away your rights. If it hasn't, I agree you need

    Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
    After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
    Homestudy complete July 19
    USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!
