Happy Saturday ladies. Wanted to put in a T&P request for myself. I know it's a busy weekend for a lot of you so I appreciate it.
Yesterday afternoon while at work, I began having a lot of lower back and pelvic pain. I have had flashes of pain come and go since MTX 2.5 weeks ago and even went to the ER 3/17 because it was so excruciating. That trip determined it was just side effects from the MTX working and I was sent on my way with a Rx for pain pills. The pain hasn't been nearly that bad since and often I can breath through it and it's over in 30-60 seconds. Yesterday's was different though. It didn't go away and about 3 hours later breathing through it was even becoming painful. My hcg drop this week was very low and my OB had side eyed it but since it met the 15% required drop they like to see, she told me we could see what my levels were next week before suggesting I get another dose of MTX. I really didn't want to call her because I assumed she would tell me I needed more. (FYI- my OB's office doesn't administer the MTX. I would have to go across the street to L&D to receive it and last time it took 4 hours. Talk about salt in the wound.)
I knew something wasn't right though so I called and was told to come in immediately for an u/s. The u/s tech did her thing for a few minutes before stepping out of the room and returning with my OB because she found a questionable "mass" near my right ovary and needed a second opinion to determine that it indeed didn't belong there. My OB looked at me and said "we will step out so you can get dressed so we can talk.". I did and when she came back she told me she'd already called the OB on call and they would be waiting for me at the hospital across the street to perform a laparoscopy. Cue the water works and anxiety. I had enough time to call DH and let him know. He raced up to the hospital (we live close) and I was already prepped for surgery. He came in long enough to listen to the OB explain was he was going to do, kiss me, and leave.
I remember being pushed to the OR room and nothing else...I was out in seconds. I woke up in recovery in the worst pain of my life. The poor nurse I was taking it out on couldn't get my pain under control fast enough for my liking! (I was being a drama queen) That's when the OB gave me the devastating blow...he took my right tube. I lost it. I was sobbing. I know I have another but that's part of me as a woman. That's 15-20% fertility gone. ::dagger::
Sorry that was so long but I'm still pretty emotional about the whole thing. Again, any T&Ps would be appreciated more than you know. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend and here are BIG SQUISHY (((hugs))) for all of you. And here's an extra (((hug))) for all of you 1 tubed ladies out there.

Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!
