Cocktail party?

A friend of ours is having a little get together tonight at their new homecocktails and hors douerves. Is it weird of us to take DD along for an hour or 2 at 9:00pm? I have my ergo and her carseat which she'll most likely sleep in the whole time.

    As long as your friend doesn't mind you bringing the baby, do it! Enjoy how portable your baby is at this age, many babies grow out of the "sleeping anywhere" awesomeness.

    I can see how it might feel weird, but like PP said, she's portable right now. Go for it, and have fun!

    If your friend is okay with it, go for it! I say take advantage of the portability of a small baby. We have taken DD every where, including bars that are family friendly.
