Ugh. Seriously awkward moment. Coworker just stopped by to see how I'm doing back at work and asked, "What's your son's name? Nathan?" "Nathaniel", I said. I thought maybe he was bringing him up because I just sent out an email about our March of Dimes walk. Then he asks, "How's he doing?"
...insert awkward silence...
"Violet." I said, "The baby's name is Violet." He looked horrified was instantly apologetic but it was still super weird. WTF
Good thing I fought the urge to say, "dead" when he asked how he was doing...!
