IUI/Progesterone Test Question

So last cycle was my first IUI- and on my 7DPO test my progesterone came up low so they put me on progesterone supplementation. This time she is having me start the progesterone just 2 days after my IUI in case my progesterone is low but then says I don't need to come in for a test after 7 days and can just come in for the pregnancy test. Is this normal? Do you always have bloodwork 7 days after IUI?

Really good point, katib. That was kind of my concern given my past issues with progesterone. I'm going to push for 7dpo bw next time.

I've never had bloodwork after IUI except for beta test at 14 days past IUI.

My RE always has IUI patients start progesterone suppositories 2 days after IUI, I've never had low progesterone results but I still follow Dr's orders.
