Foot pain

My right foot has been killing me lately, every other day or so it throbs and is hard to walk on. It hurts to flex. I probably should go to the doctor/ quick care clinic but I really don't want to spend the 40 dollar copay. Anyone have any medical knowledge? At first I was thinking its a bone spur and would go away, but it hasn't yet and it's been on and off for about a month.

    I would get it checked by a Dr to rule out anything major. But Dh was having shooting pains in his heel for the last year and he went to a chiro to get it fixed! He was amazed :)
