Baby kicks?

Im sure there are alot of these posts and Im sorry but I have to ask, this is just too exciting. I posted this on my BMB too. --- So I'm laying on my back on the phone with my sister and I have my hands pushed hard on my lower stomach below my belly button. I felt gas bubbles against my hand and passed it off as just that until it happened in the same spot over and over again for about 10 minutes. I asked my sister what she thought and she said that was definitely the baby, (she has had two kids)....I'm skeptical because I've what I've read here... and I'm a FTM. I would be ecstatic if it was but then again who knows and I don't wanna get my hopes up too much yet. I'll be 15 weeks on Monday. STMs- would I be able to feel it against my hand?

Re: Baby kicks?

  • Maybe? I would think that you'd have to be 20 weeks or beyond though usually. I mean, I can't tell you for sure. It's either very serious gas or baby.

I'm somewhat doubtful that you'd be able to feel it from the outside at 15 weeks. It seems

  • Actually it depends on where you're carrying the baby. If he/she is closer to the front and you are rather thin you should be able to feel the light flutter if you're pressing. I'm a 3rd timer and I know what it feels like but it's hard to explain. It doe

  • At 16 wks I too can feel the fluttering inside, and when I press on my tummy I try to convince myself I can feel it, but it's really not there. Usually it's the pulse in my fingers! Haha!
  • I think it's likely but very rare! I didn't feel any movements til 19/20 weeks. Just wait until they start getting stronger and more regular. It's so beautiful!! I'm also a FTM. :)
