Cloth Diapering
CD newbie any info. appreciated
Hi, I'm a STM 8 years apart. I have decided to cloth diaper this time around. BUT I have no friends who CD so I would love some experienced mommas to turn too.
Right now I have 3 XS Charlie Banana, 2 XS boutique unknown brand, 3 small Charlie Banana and 2 small Fuzzbunz, 2 one size Charlie Banana and 2 one size baby land. All are snap diapers with inserts and pockets. Except the 2 boutique XS they do not have pockets.
Now I'm short and thin, my older daughter was long and skinny, still is LOL. My husband is very tall and skinny I'm assuming I'll have another long skinny baby. So from what I have read the one size diapers probably will not fit well for awhile.
How many size small should I start with before baby gets here and I'm able to see what works best? I can't just run to the store and buy them I have to order them. So I want to have enough to get started.
What do I need for cleaning/caring for my cloth diapers?
Before the umbilical cord falls off what is the best way to diaper baby so the diaper doesn't touch the umbilical cord?
Any other CD'ing must knows would be appreciated. If anyone wants to exchange emails to help along the way that would be great!! I'm on the outside of South Austin if anyone knows of any groups I could join.
