Coconut Oil for Drool Rash?

DD has a pretty bad drool rash on her chin. What would make a safe and effective moisturizer for her face? I was thinking coconut oil? There is a chance she will lick it off. Anyone used coconut oil on the face for a drool rash?

    I use coconut oil on DD's face all the time. She had a little rash on her cheek when she woke up the other day from drooling in her sleep and it was clear by the end of the day. It;s safe for them to ingest, as far as I know. Some people use it for nipple

    Coconut oil can be wonderful on the skin but some may be a bit sensitivity to it, DS is one of those. He has eczema yet oddly enough he's never had a rash from drool on his face, his skin gets a bit irritated around his cheeks when someone wearing perfume
