I usually lurk but, I noticed the Dr Phil was the attachment parenting episode I missed last time around and figured why not... I am debating just turning it off now though. I think it's sad that these people are not even trying to understand a different style than their own, they all come off very judgmental. I haven't heard any good reason not baby wear, breastfeed or co-sleep other than your kids will never be independent and it's abusive.
It just sounds like they didn't bring in any one with any real thought to why they are against it, even the writer didn't sound like she had any facts as to being against it and she wrote a book about it. I don't mind listening to an argument between people but this doesn't feel like a real argument, just a judgmental mommy war.

I watched him in high school with my step mom and quit sometime around when they went hollywood for that reason.
I might not agree with other parenting methods, but that's why I don't do it that way and I don't try to shove my ideas down so
