Blister/pimple on thumb?

My daughter has what looks like a pimple on her right thumb. It's white and it's red around it. She does suck on her thumb and fingers from time to time. Have any of you seen this?

    I haven't, but i want to believe that the fact that she always suck on it makes it always wet and then the skin becomes white snd very soft. try keeping it dry though i guess it will be hard.

    probably from sucking it.  my guy had this- it looked like his skin around his thumb was all red like when we have an infected hang nail.  it was from him sucking
