Hi everyone.

I didn't realize this board existed I am new to the bump

I am 5 weeks 2 days today and just got a call from my doctor that my progestrone has dropped from 12.9 on wednesday to 9.9 today and she wants me to start on suppositories.



My HCG was 6000 on Wednesday and was 9411 i think or 9144 or some combinations of those numbers with 9 in front today. She said it didn't double but that is ok because as it gets closer to 10,000 it will not.



We got pregnant via IUI has anyone else who has gone through fertility issues used the suppositories... any side effects, did they work, etc? any info would be greatly appreciated.


They also said I can't work out other than walking and can't lift things heavier than 15lbs

    what is PF number and what are PIO, Crinone and Endometrin.  I only had 2 rounds of IUI so I am not so familiar with all of this... 

     

    Did it help? I am worried about MC.

    I went on progesterone suppositories because my levels dropped, and they worked in keeping my levels strong. I haven't noticed any adverse side effects that couldn't also be attributed to being pg.

    HSG: Right tube all clear, left tube inconclusive
    3 failed Clomid Cylces
    4/5 lap revealed blocked left tube, but right tube is open
    April/May- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1= CANCELLED left ovary ovulating
    June 1- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1 = BFN
    June 28- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #2 =BFP!
    7/12 Beta #1= 14 Beta #2= >5 Chemical Pregnancy :(
    July-Nov long break to recover emotionally and financially
    Nov 24- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #3= BFN
    Jan 22- Gonal-F + Ovidrel + IUI# 4 = CANCELLED no response on right
    IVF #1- Start stims 4/7, ER 4/20, 21R, 14F, 6 frosties, ET 4/25, 2 embryos transferred= BFN :(
    FET #1- June 2012, Lurpon starts 5/27- CANCELLED
    FET #1 take 2- August 2012, delayed until Sept-CANCELLED
    FET #1 take 3- ET 10/11, 2 embryos transferred,= BFFN
    FET #2- Transfer 12/4--Cancelled, no embies survived thaw :(
    Next steps-- IVF #2 with new RE in March
    HOLY SURPRISE BFP 2/15/13!!!! Beta 1- 286, Beta 2- 782, First Ultrasound 2/25- baby in uterus & all looks good!

    AMH tested again 1/2013- 1.4!!!!

    2/26 ultrasound #1- TWINS!
    Delivered a healthy beautiful baby boy on 10/17/13 10ls. 2 ounces

    TTC #2 
    AMH .75 VERY POOR RESPONDER
    IUI #4 cancelled due to only one egg responding 
    IUI#5 cancelled on CD 10,  (3) follicules were still very small even on 300 IU's of Follistim. Also found fluid in my uterus from C-section scar
    BFP- 8/9/15 
    Beta #1 8/10/15 13DPO-   9.2 (fingers crossed this sticks)
    Beta #2 8/12/15 15DPO   39- progesterone 18 
    Beta #3 8/14/15    111- progesterone 17.5
    Ultrasound August 31-

    Restrictions in pregnancy suck, but they are worth it in the end.

    I did PIO and 2x/day Endometrin vaginal suppositories.  No side effects other than a bunch of vaginal discharge.  I did PIO from egg retrieval until 10+ weeks pregnant. &

    Natural m/c Oct. 2005

    Dx: balanced translocation and LPD

    TTC since Oct 2011

    BPF 02/19/12, EDD 10/31/12, natural m/c 02/28/12 (4w6d)

    IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
    BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)
