When did your doc stop...

in 1st Trimester

...checking your HCG levels?  Today I went in at 8w3d and they ran my blood for progesterone, but didn't bother for HCG.  The doc said at this point they typically plateau and they aren't really indicative of anything anymore.  Mine had already started to slow in their rise last week, doubling every 5-6 days as opposed to 2-3.

How about you guys?  Did your doc stop checking your numbers after a certain point?

    My OB never checked them. Or let me say, I am sure he looked at them in my inital prelim blood work at my first appointment when I was 8w6d. I went to a clinic and took a urine test to get the proof of pregnancy paper. Then I went to my OB who took blood

    Mine wants me to get to 2000 before she stops, I assume so she can check everything out on an ultrasound by then.  I have a history of losses and my first two were a little wonky.  My veins are already hurting and bruised after 5 draws in 10 day

    I had mine drawn at 5wks and then at 5w2d the were roughly 4000 and 8000 my office said they didn't see a need to repeat them any more. Instead we scheduled a scan for next week.

    Once you see things on US there is no reason to follow HCGs.
    5/08- blighted ovum, spont ab; 2/20/09- epi, VAVD, Girl! breastfed 24mo; 10/10- blighted ovum, spon ab; 12/10- no fetal pole, Cytotec; 11/20/11- unmedicated SVD, Girl! breastfed 18mo; 11/7/13- unmedicated SVD, breastfed 18mo; 2/11/16- unmedicated SVD, exclusively pumping to at least a year.

    I had them done at 4 5 weeks and then after the sono nothing.
    Pregnancy discovered at 12 weeks 12/2007 - D&C at 13 Weeks due to partial Ectopic pregnancy/Body rejecting pregnancy. Last Pregnancy - EDD August 2013 TTC Our first miracle baby.

    my doc only did it once because I've had so many MC's she wanted ME to feel assured they were doubling, once they did, we called it successful and now I'm riding it out until my 10 week appointments (on april 10th)
