I'M PREGNANT!!!
You guys. This is effing crazy. So remember how I posted below wondering about when a blood test would show pregnancy, agonizing over whether or not to cancel surgery, acting like a big ol' ball of crazy, etc etc?
I got my answer this morning. Apparently, for me, 9 DPO!!!
So I swing by the lab on my way up to get registered for surgery and have a blood draw done. I joke about being preggo with the nurse and she tells me that two people found out they were pregs before surgery yesterday. She tells me it happens all of the time.
I go upstairs, register, get into a gown, the anesthesiologist starts my IV and puts a patch behind my ear that's supposed to help with nausea, and gives me some Zofran to slip under my tongue. I'm pretty much set to go. I ask the nurse whether or not my HCG results are in yet and she says no, but they should be, so she calls downstairs. After some fumbling on the computer I notice her mouth kinda drop. Then she calls over another nurse to come look at the screen (this was happening at the nurses station right outside of my room so I could see everything b/c the door was open). The other nurse rolls her eyes, then sees I'm staring at her and walks away looking kinda sheepish (b!tch). Then the nurse who was assigned to my room calls over the resident doc who was going to be in surgery with me. She looks at the screen and lets out a HUGE sigh, calls my doc and gets his voicemail (she had it on speaker), so then texts him. I could tell she was super annoyed and that's when I knew something was up. She puts on a happy face (even though I was onto her by that point), comes in my room, touches my leg like I'm some 5 year old kid and tells me she, "has some news." She said that it didn't look like I'd be having surgery today because I AM PREGNANT. So I'm sitting there all shocked and she tells me my beta was only an 11, but for only 9DPO that's pretty normal. She said my doc wanted me to have another draw done just to be sure before they officially cancelled the surgery. I had the draw done, and again, it came back at 11.
I then became the talk of the floor and had random visitors from staff throughout the morning congratulating us and laughing about the fact that if this all works out with have three kids under three.
So! They told me to come back in 48 hours for a repeat beta and to schedule an ultrasound for 3 weeks from now just for dating and to make sure the pregnancy is where it's supposed to be, etc etc.
My husband and I left and went out for breakfast to celebrate. I'M IN SHOCK. This is crazy.
It is sooooooooooo early so I'm trying not to get excited and plan to just take things one day at a time.
I can honestly say, while in total denial, part of me isn't surprised. I was supposed to get my period yesterday according to my usual 8 day LP, my boobs have been super sore and I've been having twinges here and there in my uterus. The boob thing I occasionally get before my period but the twinges I specifically remember from my last two pregnancies and have never gotten them with any cycle I wasn't pregnant. I peed on sticks all day yesterday (and even this morning before we left) and all were negative within about a minute so I tried to forget about it.
CRAZY. Anyway. I just wanted to update you all. I have yet to believe this all myself so I'm trying to let it all soak in while being (very!!!) cautiously optimistic.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!

After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Nurse just called. She wants me to come in for another draw on Monday instead of Sunday (due to the holiday) and said my progesterone is at 23! Yay.
I guess even though we didn't do treatments with this doc (or even surgery LOL) he is
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

That is so awesome! It is almost like scheduling the surgery made it happen or something...and just think, if your surgery had not been postponed, it probably would not have happened.
