C has always spit up! Typically it's white and thick but lately it's been clear with little white peices in it. He had reflux and the meds seemed to have plateaud for us so we stopped almost 2 weeks ago. He seems to be a happy spitter but between his new found love of rolling from back to tummy and shoving his fingers in his mouth it's constant!
Should I be concerned that his spit up looks this way? I really don't want to go back on reflux medicine.
D has reflux and occasionally will have spit up like you describe and it generally smells like stomach acid. Our Pedi said as long as he was eating well, gaining weight and still a "happy" spitter there was no need to change or increase the medicati
H has horrible spit up issues. But has always been a happy spitter and has no problems gaining weight so he was never put on reflux medication. Since he started drooling and constantly chewing and sucking on his fists the spit is clear with white chunk
