Evaporation line or faint line???

in 1st Trimester

Hello everyone!!! I took a pregnancy test and it looks like a very faint pink line for the positive.  I've been researching about evap lines and faint lines and I'm a little confused about it.  They say evap lines have no color, but you can clearly see that this line has a pink color.  My DH and I have been TTC for 8 mos. now.  Can anyone express their opinion on this. Thanks ladies!!

    Evap lines are rare on a pink dye test. A line is a line even if it's faint and barely visible.

    pink dye tests dont get evap lines. was it a FRER?

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    I agree, a line is a line.  Did you read it within the recommended time frame?  If I were you, I would schedule a blood test with your ob to be certain ;)

    Those dang lines are so annoying and confusing! I agree with PP a line is a line, but it's still hard to believe. Do what I did and save yourself some confusion. Go get a digital test that clearly states "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" that way you'll know f

    Thanks ladies for all your responses!!! I'm just really nervous and don't want to be disappointed. I told my DH about the test and he said not to think about it and wait till I miss AF to retest.  WE really want this, but I'm trying so hard not to re

    The same thing happend with me , I took two of the line tests and both times I had one really dark pink like (on the right) and a very faint line (on the left).  A line is a line as everyone told me, I went out an bought a digital test after that

    I took the FRER on Monday and the EPT today. I'm so nervous.

    This happened to me too-

     I was having vivid dreams 3 nights in a row and decided to test even though I was only 8 DPO.

    I took an EPT digital and it came back positive!  I was shocked! (and so excited)

    It's a negative ladies. AF showed her ugly face yesterday. I went back to the doctor today to get started on clomid this week and this will be my 4th IUI.
