NBR: Downloading videos onto Mac

My husband had to record something for work today on our panasonic camcorder. Last night, I had no problem uploading all of the videos on our camcorder to the computer via imovie.

Tonight, I go to upload the stuff he recorded today to iMovie & it doesn't recognize that there are additional videos on the card, therefore, I can't upload them. Argh!! I can view them on the camcorder just fine.

He HAS to have these for work & it was an office skit & they can't re-record.

Anyone good with macs/imovie/camcorders & can help a girl out before I throw this through the window? 

 

ETA: The only thing I can think of it has to do with the 1080/60p. I'm not sure if the other videos were the same (they were recorded forever ago) & maybe iMovie just can't do high resolution?

    Hmmm it's hard to know what's going on but I would try 2 things: make sure you have the latest version of iMovie and also try to connect the card directly to the computer not through the camcorder itself hope that makes sense. Let me know if this works i
