stomach pains

hey guys, im 18 wks and last night right after i got up from peeing i got a very sharp pain above belly button but right below my breasts.. it hurted so bad i could barley walk and would hurt more when i would try to breathe in.. lasted like 10 min nd then went away then came back later on but just not as bad as when it first hit me. i have a doc appt tomorrow i just got scared that mayb something was wrong with bby.. has this happened to anyone?

  • As the baby is yet to be above your belly button at 18 weeks it sounds like its something else and nothing to do with baby. I would contact your dr just to be sure and you have an app coming up. If the pain comes back again I'd call someone and seek advi

  • I don't think it has anything to do with baby since it's that high and baby isn't.

  • i have went through that myself as well im 19 weeks and 3 days now and i thought maybe it was because the uterus was pushing everything up wards cuz i had it for my other 2 pregnancies as well.... so maybe thats what it could be .....  but i would st

  • It is probably not baby related since the pain is up so high. You could have pulled a musle or a ligment in your stomach from standing up too quick or sitting funny?

  • I had a similar situation and went to the doctor.  I couldn't even walk without that section hurting.  Since it's high up, it had nothing to do with the baby.  It was gas related and they requested I lay low on acidic type foods and take Ma
