I keep reading conflicting answers to this. If I make a formula bottle with, say, 6 oz and DS eats a few ounces only, can I put it back into the fridge? This is without the bottle having been heated. At night he takes it right out of the fridge.

Re: Formula rules
We do it for B. It stays good in the fridge up to 24hrs. But we try to use it way before then. He has never had any issues with them.
Once LO drinks from a bottle, we only use what he drinks within an hour. Typically it's not an issue because he finishes his bottle. But if he were to fall asleep or whatever we would throw the remainder away. </P
I haven't read the other responses so this might be a repeat...
After they have started drinking it should be discarded within an hour... I THINK this is because once they have drunk out of the bottle bacteria has been introduced to the mix<
