S+TM water breaking question (XP from 3rd tri)

I'm a STM mom myself. My first baby came at 41w5d with my water breaking but no contractions. I was started on Pitocin after waiting about 4-5 hours for contractions to start. I went in to the hospital this morning at 38w2d after having what I thought was my water break. I was told that it was my forewater that broke and my doctor didn't want to induce me because baby is still high and I'm not dilated. Has anyone else had their forewater break prior to labor? If so how long until you really went into labor after it happened? Thanks in advance. It's been an emotional day and I'm really hoping to meet my little girl soon.
